Tamiya VW Kübel Feldzeug Bat.

Post by volvospeed2010 »

Well, i hope im right here with this thread... ???

I was lucky to get one of the lastest Tamiya VW Kübel 1/16 RC. 2 Weeks ago i start to buildt.

Image

Here you can see the original Tamiya RC Box ( black ) . The Funktion of this is horroble, like an cheap toy. Klick-Klack, Fullspeed-stop

Image

The Gearbox, also the Batteriebox is good

Image

I just cut of the two black condansators, i don´t need this with the new electrical

Image

For Speedcontrol i use an flymotec ( CTI ) Thor 4s, also an 6 Chanal Micro Reciever. The Batteries are some 4 Cell Size AAA 1000mAh with 4,8 Volt. An old Servoplug i use as Chargeplug now

Image

right behind the rear axle

Image

Maximum chargespeed with this is 1 Amp.

Image

At the next step i modified the steering

Image

For this i use an Mikroservo, Graupner DS 248. This little thing has power enough for this funktion.

I just has to cut out some parts

Image

Here we go, now it looks like this and it works great.

Image

You can see the Mechnics are very small

Image

The complette Chassie, ready to run
