Hello all!
Just been reading up on RC tanks, was wondering if there are any RC tank guys/battles near by!
Thanks..

Hello instigata,
You have come to the right place! Your nearest club reps are either FV432 (in Swindon) or Septon (in Luton). They are away at a club meeting this weekend, but I'm sure they will get back to you as soon as they return.
The 1/16 IR Armoured Division is a non-projectile R/C tank modeling and battling club. We use the Tamiya infra-red wave length 'laser tag' system (or compatible) for our battles - as does pretty much every other club out there. We do recommend that you purchase model insurance (7 pounds per year, no limit on the number of models covered), and this is requirement if you want to run your tanks at the public events we attend every year.
The combat electronics mega post is here:

Hope this helps, if not give me a shout
