Re: Airbrush
are you after a single action or double, single action is more user friendly for the beginer, ive got a badger 200 single action and its served me very well

Couple of questions...
1) whats the difference between single and double?
2) how much was it?

Re: Airbrush
a single action has a set paint delivery which you can adjust by a turn screw at the rear, and the paint is mixed with the air , basically a point and shoot , but the double action is push down for air flow then pull back trigger button for the paint flow, the more you pull back the more paint you get , not very much , ebay for £25, but you can get some good starter sets , brush ,hoses and compressor.

OK,Cheers for that

Re: Airbrush
Thats pretty much the same one I got, but I had a completely metal gravity feed airbrush, and it came with a water trap for the airbrush itself.
Its good for the price, I used it to do my Tiger, and was great as i'd never airbrushed before.
Cheers,
Rik

Re: Airbrush
Some guys like it as you get a constant air pressure for long periods of spraying, but I didn't get it and never had a problem.
Definitely read guides on airbrush use. I have some of the Osprey and Mig Production DVD's and they really helped learn.
What paints do you intend to use? I use Vallejo Model Air, they can be used straight from the bottle, or with a bit of Vallejo's Thinners. I like the range as the colours are good scale representations of tank colours, but again this comes down to taste. I've not used Tamiya paint through an airbrush, but requires laquer thiners in larger amounts I believe.
Cheers,
Rik
