Armor past and present
Armor past and present
Well once again the local shop has hidden treasure,Mid-South hobbies is our local shop. They have been around as long as I can remember, and today even though It was my second visit I find a poster a meter wide may 1.5 long of every tank from beginning to the Abrams and a few modern tanks I have never heard of. This is like a Identification poster similar to naval silhouette cards, but most are good line drawings of different tanks from many countries and time periods,I will try and photo some of the more interesting drawings and share with the forum. Re: Armor past and present
that would be interesting. i take it, it's quite a new poster, How far back in time do the tanks go?
Re: Armor past and present
The poster seems to be printed in 1992 but the first tank is dated 1915. So I think most every major tank is represented either as a silhouette or line drawing. But I have walked by this posted for years and simply did not notice. It was rolled up in the hardware section leaning in the corner of a peg board display. I'm just happy to have it and to be able to share it here, many tanks between the wars I've never seen or heard of,I will try to post a few pictures in the Camo, section or maybe off topic section.
