Saxondog and RCU

Post by Saxondog »

I know that many people like myself spend time on other forums,RCU being one. Recently their were two post I was involved in which were used by some RCU members to attack me in a personal, manner. If you have seen either of these post prior to them being locked and edited I only want to say this, IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN HERE. No member here will ever be left to personal attack. My point is simple, here we have a forum that has pride and respect, maybe not always for each other but respect for the forum and not wanting anything negative,or cheap to be part of our world here. I also realized something else, that this system that is in place on our forum works so much better because it's people based not advertiser based.More speed, faster pm's.easier access to information and much more armor based information. I don't want the subjects that involved me on RCU discussed here, but just thought that the experience and what it made me see was something that benefits everyone. And no that moderation on RCU did, once asked intervene. They do not have an active moderator for that section, another reason for the smooth way things work here, alot of guy's giving their time to monitor and correct any problems, most of which we members don't ever see.I'm speaking here as a member, not a moderator.I am very happy to be involved in this forum, and thankful for having someplace to spend my time and enjoy this hobby with others. I saw your troubles Blake and Frank. I've read several arguments erupting over there. It seems a lot of the guys on there get on high horses and act like they are the kings of 1/16 tanks.
I only ever post on there if I really need to. This forum is always friendly, the advice is free flowing, we support each other, and don't berate someone for having the wrong shade paint, or the wrong feature for that bit of the war.
I'm glad to be a card carrying member of this club! (We really should have membership cards! :D ) I'm always glad to post my work here, and to see everyone elses work.

Cheers,
Rik

I really like the card carrying member Idea, that is absolutely a fine idea. And thanks everyone for the kind words. Card carrying Members sounds very elite, which is to funny because we don't suffer the conceit of some as shown by several over their. Cheers Blake

Blake
ive read through your post on rcu i wont comment on it here as its between you and them

but your definatly not alone with the situation you find yourself in as a good majority of us here have been in a similar fight with members and mods there
i for one am very pleased that you are here and all your work as a member and mod is very much appreciated and i know im not alone when i say that

one thing i am pleased about is all the sentiment for the "Community" we have here and i would like to say to all of rctankwarfare members give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back for making this forum what it is   :D :D

hmmm membership card that does sound like a good idea
