So, just spend two hours cleaning the parts from the resin that had to be cut away. Oh boy what a mess to clean afterwards :-) But I am happy, all resin parts are now ready to be assambled

Next is to work on the upper hull of the Panzer IV. Pictures will follow when this starts

So, I got a little further on my project.

Most of the work have been sawing and sanding for. The main top is not glued yet, I only put that on the top to get an impression of the work so far.

More pics will be poste as the work progress

the mail top, mudguards, persiscope etc is now fitted. Have not yet taken the pics of the last changes, but they will be posted.

btw, I used some very thin copperplate to support the mudguards and the driver plate onto the main structure and also to support the gun where it is mounted on to the henges on the inside. This will make sure that it it very strong and stable.

I have made the top into one single unit, so that I have easy access to gearboxes, electronics etc in case this is needed.

Now I only need some low profile gearboxes, as the stock gears are to high in profile, to fit under the gun.

Have any of you any knowledge if the Panzer 3 & 4 from HL used the same type of gears and shaft length. If yes, the it will be easy to find a set of lowprofile gears.

they are the same, I've used the Mato short axle gearboxes in PzIII's, PzIV's and Tigers.
