Wish I could claim all the credit, but I found a "Vallejo Winter cam kit" on ebay. Alot of the stuff in I could'nt get on with it. Think its designed more for 1/35 scale. However, the basic technique was quite simple
I first painted the tank in standard 3 colour cam, left to dry, then masked up. using "foundation White" and of all things a natural spong provided in the kit dabbed on the paint-not to evenly. Once dry run some "Basalt grey" on the edges, instructions say use it to make shadows , didnt work for me,but helped break up the edges then i mixed Sepia wash with black and water and washed all white areas. Finally used thinned black as a pin wash in the recces's Thats about it, you can pick up the colours for a fraction of the kit price. Give it a go.If i can-anyone can. :D :D
