I have know about this Sdkfz.251 for a while, their is an rack in the local shop with many of the smaller scale tanks and men but this was the only 1/18 left.Until the recent post about 21st century toys and some interest in these I picked this one up,also found an older post about conversion using Tamiya and elmod components. So I spent a few bucks and have a look. Iain, these has been at that shop for a while.I had to dust it off to see the price.Mid South hobbies has been around when many others have come and gone here in Memphis,Tn.They also have purchased the inventories of other shops which is where the came from and why it was on a shelf forgotten.Their are boxes of stuff, prior to this at Christmas I found two 1/16 scale kubelwagens .They for what ever reason do not have an inventory, the owner is well known in the RC-Flying groups and they set up a really cool race track on sundays and race all classes of cars. They set up a drivers stand that is about 8feet high placing the driver in a birds eye view.Until Mart said something about these 21st century afv's I did not realize how rare these were.If I find more(their are many smaller scale ones)I will post and if someone wants to cover the cost I'll ship it over,or straight to Dave as I will be sending a package to him possibly this week. Let me know if their is a specific one your looking for and I will check, this is not a small shop it's big and divided in sections they have a large scale indoor slot track on one end and several train displays on the other with armor in the middle.Planes cover the overhead and I mean 30-40.But the best thing is the guy's that run the shop,if your a local they will shelf what you want and you pay as you go.And all prices fair and sometimes you can just tell Don what you are willing to pay and they say ok.Armor model section is large, several hundred kits.Every time I dig I find something new.Cheers Blake
