Looks like the Tankzone website has gone. Anyone got any idea what's happening ?. Checked out a few links and one of them say's the website is suspended and awating renewal.

yup that means that the domain has expired (not ben payed for and left) like it did here, except Kin actually had acess to his domain to renew it unlike me (i had it through somebody else) hence the swap to .co.uk . i cant understand why he didnt just pay for it..

Well tankzone off the air Can"t say he"ll be missed that MR,KIN,unlike me who uesed tankzone he didn"t pay his bill???.Got my refund just in time by the looks of it . Sorry for this easter sunday rant but it has made me feel better Happy easter to you all.... Brian

Its suspended, rather than defunct. No one else can buy it as yet, so as long as Kin coughs up then the url will go live again.

The domain is registered at 123, same as all of mine.

What 'may' have happened is that he registered the domain with one email address, and then changed it. 2 years later when his renewal was due all of the reminder emails will go to the old address, he wouldn't have been aware that renewal was due...and it automatically went into suspension (one of my clients did this, it was only by accident that I discovered what he had done in the nick of time).

They send umpteen reminders starting 90 days before renewal, so it's not as if he could simply have forgotten.

He will kick himself when he finds out what has happened, thats a lot of lost trade.

It get's you onto the tankzone site. Not sure if it's still active so don't order untill we know what's going on. However you might still be able to get that refund. Hope this helps

I really dont get this anti Kin sentiment, its obvious some of you have been unlucky( quantify that to fit your situation) but every time Ive ordered off of him its been fast, polite and friendly and when there was a problem it was sorted quickly and amicably.

Im not saying your wrong before i get flamed, Ive just never had that problem!

I have never bought directly from tankzone but have bought from them off Ebay and have never had a problem from the ebay store, I know some folks have had problems and wish them luck in getting a reply and or refund, Tankzone has a bad reputation in not answering emails and giving refunds where due.
