Night Fighter Jagdpanther
Night Fighter Jagdpanther
Well I finally got started on the Jagdpanther I purchased last November.I have been trying to find pictures but so far it is a what might have been Jagdpanther.Base coat of grey primer, base coat of flat black, some pastel weathering two coats Johnson's floor polish and two coat of MATT VARNISH.So far I can live with it.Just needs some more shadowing and a good wash for the weld seems and hatch covers maybe.Cheers Blake

Hi Blake . You have convinced me mate it looks very good , well done. What if anything do you use o thin the varnish .

Re: Night Fighter Jagdpanther
Straight on no thinning just allow complete drying times,1hr for the polish minimum. And 24hrs-48hrs on the varnish, light coats and even pressure not the method where you trigger a lot like spot painting with the airbrush, even coats all the same direction back to front, not back and forth.Andy your Stug looks great, these methods are well documented on this forum so if you feel this will enhance your paintwork give it a try.Just remember to post a before and after picture,Cheers Blake
