Just posting a couple of pics of the Bulldog. The desert camo has gone, and the two colour olive green is on ( I just got fed up with it sticking out like a sore thumb when we are battling). Now has an RX18 too, which has been plumbed in to the Darkith IR battle system (all concealed), as well as metal tracks, sprockets, gearboxes etc.
Mods to Bulldog?
Lowered periscopes at front
Lowered mg mount
Removed rear mg mount
Extended fenders
Lowered whatever those bridges are called in front of the cupola
Removed moulded tools on back of turret
I tried lowering it, but aborted that and had to glue it all back together again. I need to see how someone has resolved the front and rear alignment before I re-attempt it. Will add a second antennae on the turret when I get the chance.
Sorry about the bright orange rust, I took 45 photo's with the camera on various settings and still couldn't get it back to what it really looks like.

Great looking bulldog wibbly, i find the best way to get good pics without the rust standing out, is outdoor pics in the natural light

Not showing off...more bored really!
I need to figure out whether it is a low battery or the shortened antennae that causes the glitches. Got some copper wire on the way that will allow me to build an internal one. That should do the trick.

Nice paint job. I wouldn't worry about shortening the aerial. Leave it as it is. It was fairly common practice in the 50's and 60's for tank crews to tether whip aerials to the lifting lug on the gun mantlet or turret front with a length of cord. This stopped it whipping around while travelling. You can do the same. Attach a piece of sewing thread about halfway up the standard antenna supplied with the tank (a drop of superglue on the knot stops it slipping up and down) and attach it to the lifting lug so the aerial is pulled forward about 35 degrees off the vertical. It does exactly the same as the full scale version, stopping the antenna whipping about. You won't have any problems with loss of control and if you attach a small pennant to the top it looks quite realistic - like a real whip antenna instead of a RC aerial. Check out photos of Israeli M51 Shermans from the 60's to see what I mean. The pennant also means you're less likely to poke your eye out when working close to the tank! . As for the second antenna, try using the clipped off end of a No. 6 guitar string. The bit of brass winding which stops short of the bare steel wire will glue into the mounting hole quite nicely.
BTW, the tools on the back of the turret are a tripod for using the 50cal machine gun dismounted. the tool above the sledgehammer is a spare barrel for the same gun. They should both be painted black or gunmetal.
All the best.
