Just a quick question
Reference the Tamiya 1/16 Jagdpanther and the Tamiya 1/16 King tiger.

Are the aluminum gun barrels provided with both kits the same?

Yes, the King Tiger is L/71 kwk43 and the Jagdpanther is L71 kwk43/4

I intend to purchase a Tamiya 1/16 Jagdpanther and backdate it from a G2 to a G1 which means, amongst other things is the installation of a one piece barrel.
I know AXELS produce a one piece barrel conversion kit for the Tamiya K/T
So you can seen my thinking if Tamiya have used the same barrel for both kits then AXELS conversion should also fit the Jagdpanther.
I was just wondering if the same piece is used in both the K/t kit and the jagdpanther kit.

Just as an aside if anybody out there is modeling the Jagdpanther can I suggest you get the Panzer Tracts book on them it is very detailed.

I have a Tamiya Jagdpanther and can report the the main gun tube is aluminium with a two piece plastic muzzle brake on the end, I bought a KT one piece aluminium muzzle brake for the jagd as they used the same gun

Sorry Saxondog is more tecno than historical lots of drawings in 1/35 and 1/10 not much deployment history- There a lot of photos but the majority of those seem to be of 654
