Here's the hull smoothed out and short'nd. It's now 27cm's long, which is equivelent to around 4mtrs in real life.

It might be ready for septons scout hut meet, if its still on, im just not sure how long its going to take. Only one person on here knows what it is intended to be, and im not saying anything, at least untill the lower hull is done, so ill just keep you all guessing @)
Got some more pics coming soon.

The rudimentry spring set up, though looking flimsey, works and will be fitted with a half tube shape cover.

Suspension units made and fitted. They are constructed from Pzr III wheels, air tubing, thick, strip balsa and plastic sheet. The axels are made from the stainless steal posts that are used on HL gear box's. You can also see that the sides of the gear box's have been shaved right down to give me a lower profile.

Looking really good. Clever use of servo horns to hold the suspension units.
Cheers

:eh: :eh: , That would have been a clever idea, Unfortunately I did'nt think of that at the time. The suspension units are all home made, apart from the wheels. the 'horns' being cut from an office door sign.
