Heng Long Smoker Unit

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with the HL smoker unit? I'm a novice but mine has stopped working, the guy in the shop said to only use 2-3 drops of oil at a time but the manual said after the first run use 4-5ml of oil. I followed the manual and it has not smoked since and I've not had it a week.
Could I have overfilled it with oil? If so, how do I remedy it? All advice welcome,

Ok, the first thing to learn about HL is this...the smoke units seldom work out of the box. The heater element is junk and does not last long at all. A bunch of guys have modified and scratchbuilt them and they work very well. I just fuinished on on my Tiegr last week. Here's a video link and I'll include the link to the build.
