photos of german tank rail cars

Post by tiger205 »

hi all
i was wondering, has anyone got any photos of the rail cars the germans used to transport their tanks, in particular Tigers?, i ask this because i would like to have a go at building one to put my Tiger on when its not being "played" with, i think that would make a pretty good display piece for my living room, though i'm not sure the mrs would agree, any help with this would be much appreciated

If you did that you would have to get a set of narrow transport tracks and change them every time you took the tank off and put it back on display LOL

That depends I have seen a few pictures of Tanks in Russia with battle tracks still on though this was mostly used in times of emergency or there where no tunnels or other rail road objects on rout
