day off so went out with her in doors to frome model center .. and got me a few bits n bobs ... nothing special to report there
but then went to trowbridge .. not by choise mite i add .. but had to say yes as the misses want to see a shop there ..
by chance found a book shop called super books ! .. a sort of pile them high and slae them not so cheap ... when you visit that kind of shop you usualy get a continueing pile of rehashed books .. the same book reprinted several times in different formats .. a3 then a5 then a2 .... you know ...
well today...... and much tomy amazment thay actualy had a book i have never seen befour

and i have just had a quite hour or so just looking thru the pics ... 90% black annd white some colour with computer help and a few colour drawings ..... the B/W phots 100% i have never seen befour .... the book is a4 in size 128 pages just stuffed with just amazing pics .. even a tiger 1 with a ship being stencelled on the gunbarrel as a kill mark ! .. it sunk a ship off the normany coast !
and there a great section about zimmerit . with pics of all the different types and which tanks had what pattern applyed ! at last i can put the correct zimmerit on the right tank !
if you have a tenner and have superbooks check it out ..
and just incase any one lives near trowbridge .. i got the last one ...
the lady in the shop said its been a very populer book with the mafva members in that aera.. ( tim neat and richard hone i bet ! )
