Wreckage King Tiger

Post by Shi-So »

Hi all,
I would like introduce my project: Reconstruct of old Tamiya King Tiger
I buy this wreck from one friend for very good money.
It is my first RC tank and if you see a pictures, than is clear that it will be a challenge :D

Many parts are paint in strange style, than I buy a decolorizer (4 bottle  ), and slowly unpainted individual parts.....

I have experience with plastic model, but not much skill with mettal part.I would like ask, what you use as a base colour for
metal parts like chassis.
I have now cleaned it, and abrade it, but dont know, if I could use clasical surfacer for plastic models?
Or is better use some special? (I have in mind use Citadel Miniature undercoat spray, for Warhammer miniatures)

Welcome to the forum, looks like you have hundreds of parts to piece together, so good luck with that, and to help you on your way follow this link to our downloads section where you will find a manual for this model King Tiger
