My scratch built Porsche Tiger/Ferdinand

Post by chris3 »

I want to show you some pics about my Porsche Tiger Project,

It started with modelling an old TigerI like the Porsche version

Image

but i didnt like it.

Then I created a completely new version, scratch built using a CNC Router to manufacture the parts.

Image

but I didn´t like my road-wheels, a half a year later I finally got my real scale porsche roadweel set from asiatam.

My second prototype with the new road-wheels.

and my first prototype with a completely new bottom hull and the scale tracks.

The leading wheel was a little bit to high,so I fixed this problem.

And here is his big brother

Very skillful approach to the Porsche main body style and shape which seems almost awkward in appearance. Its amazing the F.PORSCHE designed something so unappealing to the eye,so weak looking compared to the Dr.Erwin Aders design which just speaks strength and robust power in appearence.Which is what the Hitler team also stated about the Aders design, even Porsche Part of Hitlers inner group of industrialist design was considered weak and impractical. That being said your example of the Porsche design is very good, and demonstrates a high level of skill. Impressive builds both of them Chris 3. Only wish I could scratch build. Always liked the Elefant, can't wait for someone to bring one out in 1/16 scale SOON.
