Hi I have a HL Pz.III tub Ive added the Asiatam metal suspension . But had a nightmare removing the road wheels . I persumed you just poped of the outer wheel then unscrewed the inside one ? Well someone at HL had decided to glue them together . I ruined two wheels but I had a couple of spares so I got away with it . However I dont want to break the plastic return roller mounts when I replace the return rollers with late war metal ones . I have removed the outer wheels . And next is a pin holding the inside wheel on . This looks like it goes as far as the inside of the tub ? . I know you can get metal ones but i dont realy want to buy them unless I realy have to. Any advice is appreciated .
Thanks Andy

Re: Removing stock HL Pz.III return rollers
Hi Andy,
I changed to metal suspension on my H/L PZIII. The way I got the axle pin out of the return roller mount was to carefully heat the inside end of the pin with a soldering iron and then pulling the pin free, just be careful not to melt the plastic.
All the best,
Nick.

Hi Nick. Thanks mate . Ive done them today before seeing this . I pushed a little from the inside then they all pulled out very easly compared with the hassel I had withe roads wheels .

If you ruin the HL return rollers and mounts, don;t worry. Some of the cheapest aftermarket parts are the return roller supports and wheels in metal. Made for the Asiatam hull, but will work with the HL hull. I think welsh dragon has them.

Hi Xrad, Yer thanks mate . I got my metal late war return rollers from Welsh Dragon Models and Idlers from Forgebear . I saw the mounts but on the website hes out of stock . If I had broke the mounts I would of got the metal ones. Ive altered my Stugs exhausts today hopefully the smoke will come out the correct holes now . Only thing is I havent got a RX18 instaled just yet but once I do I will test it . Ive posted some quick photos .
Thanks Andy
Thanks Andy
