Scorpion light tank

Post by mickyb »

Hi folks,

has anyone got an idea where I can get plans for a Scorpion please cos I would like to build one? I can get dimensions of the net but plans would be better.

Is there an HL tank that I could use the chassis and mod it then scratch build the top.

So many questions and the New Year has only just begun........

Cheers Mike

Hi These things used to do 70mph so you will have to work on the gearing and the tracks.V12 engine out of the E-type Jaguar

Many thanks lads.

I will buy a kit to get info on the fittings etc and the diagram with dimensions is just great.

Has anyone got any ideas on which wheels and sprockets I could use please?

just a thought .. rocket may be able to advise here

the ultimate soldire ? 1/18th m113a2 rc armourd personel carrier .. has the same general wheel arangement

certainly the road wheels look very close /// it may be juat a blag ro get a good lookingg set of sproceks and track to do the job ...
the rest should be fairly simple to scratch build ... the only fly maybe the htches as there a slight dome in the middle of each

best of luck
