Anyone know if it matters if you use Ni-cd or Ni-mh ? The fact that the H/Ls are cd..

NiCds are ok if you treat them properly and run them flat now and again before recharging but my own preference is to swich to NiMh if you can. They can be charged at any time without reducing the batteries capacity.

Hi Tracks the Ni-mh are better they dont seem to be affected the same if you leave them for a long while just have to recharge and go ,Ni -cd batteries tend to suffer from whats called battery memory which is if you dont fully dicharge the battery it tends to lose performance also if they get to low on charge they sometimes wont take a charge,I always use the Ni-hm batteries ,the best type are 7,4v around 5000mh you will need a good fast auto-charger these batteries give a good length of run time.
