Still Here
Hi Gentlemen,
I'm still here and I provide a quick note as to why I've been a bit quiet recently.
Putting the old credit crunch to one side it's been a very good year for me, if a bit busy and stressful. Things are settling down nicely and I'm looking forward to a good start in 2010.
That said, it'll hopefully provide more time for me to "mod" and improve my tanks. I'm looking forward to a few builds in the new year that I hope to share with you all.
I need to find time and energy to try out the BTU's that my friend Pete (971wright) built me for my Sherman. I also need to sort out the skip full of RCC Battle stuff that I have promised to Pete and Rob.In order for them to try and see if they can make it work.
I have made an RCC Battle unit work in one of my Stug's in a fashion and my spin on this is, it's a marginal unit. A Tamiya tank and a Tamiya BTU would work great as always and be far more rewarding.
All the best Gents and heave a great Xmas.
Nick.

Re: Still Here
Rob my friend, I haven't been ignoring you or all my other friends on this forum.
It's just been a hard and strange year for me in my business. It's been lucrative but as a consequence, it really has sucked the life out of me. So I'm setting up for a truly great Xmas with my family.
I like the sound of you fabricating some "lamp guards" and if you've got one or two left over I would be very grateful if one or two found their way to my workshop.
Good to hear from you Rob,
All the best for Xmas and the new year,
Nick.

Re: Still Here
Just curious did you get the RCC Unit working as it was designed? Were you able to settle you differences with Bill? Their has been much said about this subject and I recall you had a build post going but it seems to of gone uncompleted? Not sure but an update would be of interest. Thanks and welcome back,Sax

Hi Nick Glad to here you have seen the worst of the credit crunch and come out the other side in good shape ,Proves you know what your doing when it comes to business.

Wow Pete,
What a link. I was thinking of Axis but looking at that link I might try these people.
Have you done business with them ? Are they reliable ?
