. Got it built and fitted out, still needs to get wet. Off to the river with the video camera first chance I get. But for now here are some snaps.

Do you tow it on a trailer behind the car?

Wow very nice , :clap: :clap: :clap: :thumbup: :thumbup: Must have big batteries to get to Europe from Australia :haha:
When you put on the water for the first time Please dont put your tank in it just in case.make sure shes water tight and and running O.K. then try her with a few diecast models final run with tank .

wow looks brilliant!!! :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

excelent work their!!!

one thing i would say though, like Pete says make sure its watertight, but also make sure their is a form or weight in the bottom so it doesn't rock too bad, if you were to go round a sharp corner in the water, and a tank (etc..) was to slide sideways exaggerating the momentum of the tilt, i fear it could tip over pouring the contents into the river as well as ruining alot of work :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

cheers,

Matt

I am guessing that Oz isn't going to throw a tank in it and bung it in the local lake! ;)

Brilliant work, your creations never cease to amaze me, I just wish I had that kind of talent. :|

Yep, as soon as I get a chance my Sherman, M16, and Pershing are going for a ride. Must put it on a set of scales to find out how heavy it is.It's a lot more than both the tanks it will be carrying. The landing craft is designed to run with its ramp opened or closed. The deck is high enough out of the water so it should be safe enough in the water with the tanks on it. I don't think it will go fast enough to spin the tanks to on side going around a sharp corner, come to think of it I don't think there any sharp corners in the water

Back again. Took the LCU down to the river today for its first run. :P

Tried it without any tanks first just in case it didn't do what it was supposed to do, All went well :D :clap:

Loaded 2 RC tanks on board and set off again, but then in the middle of the river it stopped running, then the wind got stronger and it found its way to the tidal flow. :( :O :'( :crazy:

PANICE :crazy: :{ :O :thumbdown:

But lucky for me the wind blew it to the edge of the river and I was able to rescue it without any damage to the Craft but a lot to my pride. :{ :{

The props and rudders got jammed with weeds. Did a quick Video
