Here is my new panther, with metal wheels, tracks, stronger springs(which are a must), sprockets and idlers...skint now!

Thanks Dave, the rear idlers were a bit of a pain to mount, as there was no template. Also the front sprockets did rub up against the sides when first fitted, i had to make spacers to bring them out to prevent fouling, i then find out that schumo make spacers.....if they knew that the sprockets would rub why not put the spacers in with them when you buy?.......or say you need the spacers when fitting the sprockets :~

Nice panther, Does it come with recoil, if so whats it like. Does it need the same mod as The HL Jagdpanther, to correct the springs.

Hi Steiner, the recoil is pitiful.....that has got to be on the list of fixes. Regarding the JD, I assume they are the same bottom wise, the springs was the first thing to change, even straight out of the box it was sagging down at the front, so yes, the springs need changing, and the difference is fantastic even with metal tracks
