Jagdpanther barrel recoil and muzzle flash mod

Hi every one,has anybody had any experience of converting a HL Jagdpanther with BB shooting mechanism
to a barrel recoil and muzzle flash version.I have been told that I might have to scrap the upper hull
completely or get a new tank,unfortunately I have spent quite a bit on customizing the tank all ready.The tank
is fitted with the RX 18 board,any ideas would be appreciated.

Pity I just sold my IR Jagdpanther, I could have taken pics so that you could compare the internals. They should be the same as both use the same barrel elevation as far as I am aware?

The muzzle flash is an easy one, you either plug in the HL muzzle flash unit, or solder in a high intensity white led.

Yea,it would have been good to see if the internal mounts are the same or not.Seems a bit drastic to
have to buy a new top as I have been told I will have to do.Hopefully some one has done the mod.

What I am trying to find out is exactly what one has to do to fit a recoil barrel unit
and flash in leu of the BB unit on the HL Jagdpanther,can it be done without fitting a new top.

Hi,thanks for that,do I assume correctly then that the ir recoil unit is a simple
replacement of the bb unit without mods to the shell,it looks like the mounts
are in the same place.

yep i think so not sure about the barrel the ir one screws in to the recoil unit not sure about the bb one if it has a thead on the end as wel thanks dave

Thanks Dave,if the ir version barrel has a treaded end moding it won't
be a prob as I am engineer,I was more concerned about the plastic moulded
mounts being different.Do you retail the recoil unit and flash.
