Missing Mudflaps

Post by torpedochief »

Ever finish a great run only to find your new TIGER 1 mudflaps seemed to have jumped ship?

After three times crawling around the yard I hit upon the ideaof using small daps of clear silicone caulk along the hinge to secure them. The silicone is flexible and allows the flap to...well flap, but holds it on to prevent loss.

Hope this helps!!

I had this problem, just one side lost twice in the yard, then I recalled this grey plumbers putty, stay flexible but just a litte in the top clasp of the flap hinge keeps the flap from moving up and poping out.Since my tank is dark grey you cannot tell its there.Saxondog
