Be great to see some pics from the event Mr br..........for those of us suffering the tyranny of distance
Of interest Sir, how have you viewed the changing 16th Rc tank hobby from back when you joined up here?
Hell of an evolution in choice, control systems & parts ? or more just same things a bit better?
Great to hear from a historic member from back in the day

Dude, I remember RC tanks in the '90s. Everything was expensive and/or built from scratch. Tamiya's tanks cost as much as a used car. There was no internet, so you had to get documentation or go to museums in person to take photos and then develop them. There was no 2.4GHz system, everything was on megahertz crystal radios. It was toughHERMAN BIX wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 9:00 am Hell of an evolution in choice, control systems & parts ? or more just same things a bit better?

Re: Charity 'Bring and Buy' Sale
As do I.
Books......they even had a smell.............
Thats why I raced motorcycles...........
I did the RC offroad car thing thru the 80's and then real bikes thru the 90's. Was cheaper than a Tamiya!!
Perhaps Mr br is not a prolific poster, thats evident, but maybe the charity is being well supported by those with a common interest we all share regardless of the public profile or exposure.
What do you reckon Mr Br ?
