Good Morning,
You're reading my mind. I woke up the other morning ( from a dream that contained buying and building tanks ) worried that Roy had not posted in some time. Same goes for the rest of those folks. I've heard nothing.
regards,
Painless

I have sent Roy an email, hoping to hear back. Not visited the forum since May last year.

I had sent Carl a PM in March this year. But sadly he never replied, hopefully he is too busy for us. He hasn't visited the forum since March 2023

Oh, and I see the original Generaljumbo visits quite often, and on the forum as I write this.

The second, or rather the first copycat General Jumbo, hasn't logged on since 2012

Or do you mean the later second copycat and third user of the name 01? Not noticed that one for quite a while.

I think Carl has commented on my channel this year so he's still knocking about

Thanks Tom, that's good to hear.

I heard back from Roy too.
He has been busy with his band and a lady friend, not sure if she is a groupie

See this is the particularly cool thing about this forum and it's community. Members are genuinely interested in the well being of others. It's not just a popularity contest or competition or a black hole of critical, non-constructive comments.

It was by chance that I was looking to hook up with Rad about some stencils. He wasn't responding, and You the Community acted to find out more about your friend. And that's a cool thing to witness and be part of.

I started here recently after lurking for several years and I kind of kick myself for not getting active sooner but such is life. I am 54 so I guess I qualify as middle of the pack. But more than happy to be in the middle of you guys. I hope the best for the friends/members that you are inquiring about.

Such a special community

I have Pm'd all sorts to see how they are doing.
Both within the hobby, but more importantly-outside the hobby, real life.
We all come here as a form of recreation and distraction from life & all its ups & downs, to share a common interest, and to help assist each other to achieve .
Sometimes its easy to overlook the back story we each have, but choose to leave out of this space(& rightly so)
Mr Rad is one in that boat unfortunately.

I often look back thru the builds, check the last-active logs & wonder what the builder is up to now.

I'm glad Mr 43RR is reliving his heyday as a band-slag & finding companionship along the way !!
Mr Rainford also, good to know he's around.

I heard from Mr Mcq11 & hes busy travelling & may be back here & active soon.
Even Mr SovZuul is back

Good to know the "men behind the models" are going ok ;)
