Well folks, its been a decade since I got this into my life & its been scaring the
out of me since!
As it has the worst reputation as a kit of all makes, this is no doubt going to be a mission of frustration and relief.
When/if it gets done I intend to run it less than any of the others, & thats RARE !!
I dont have a 184 of my own, but have repaired one of a mates that I damaged ages ago, and rather than the next project being a simple get it done thing, this is a proper project....................
As Im also a PITA & cant just do a thing as it was meant to be out of the box, I have a plan to backdate this Elephant to a correct early Kursk Ferdinand.
I even have early tracks for it with the plain treads that came from Rome as a fluke deal again years ago.
I have a donor upper casemate that was accumulated some years ago from a very benevolent and philanthropic Gent that prefers not to have the attention but he knows well enough that I humbly appreciate his gratuity and hope I can do his parts justice.
I have an old IBU2 with an amp that has been set up but never switched on since 2017 that was got just for this. I need speakers though.
There will be a fair ole bit of work to get this thing backdated & right to be an actual Ferdinand rather than an Elephant, so its not without trepidation that I embark on this certain long mission.
The link above is the fountain of info I am tapping into & after toying with the one that has the skull & crossbones on the front, decided to do this one instead.
Right front guard missing, seemingly 2 toolboxes on the right side one partially covering the Balkankreuz,, no rear guards and camo netting on the right front corner of the casemate.
Even the box is imposing

was finding out that the gap in between the roadwheels of the stock set is too tight to go over the Asiatam track guide horns 
Another punch in the face, but one I can wipe the blood off & go again next round....
