Born Again to the Servo Gods...

Soooooo y'all might remember my project following Meter rats tutelage getting the Asiatam barrel recoil and elevation unit to play nicely withe the TK7.0. Well I kinda got sick of it's finicky workings and wanted to do more barrel recoil, flash and smoke on some of my other wagons.
Welcome me to the 21st Century. Funny part is, and I'm not sure why, I was apprehensive about servos, but man they're a lot easier than whispering sweet nothings into that Asiatam units ear every time before it took a shot.
So I bring you a TK 7.1 running Rich Johnson's smooth as buttered glass printed recoil unit. Worth every penny and minute spent setting it up.

Did a little fab work making shims for a perfect fit. 2.5mm square styrene rods did the trick and are easy to file some grooves into.

and Yes Ian, I'm sure it would work on a modern tank as well, just wouldn't look as cool

sumptin sexy bout that piece of work... Yep I'll take credit for that perfectly fit liner
