Tamiya King Tiger Gun Stopper

Hello,

I have a Tamiya King Tiger currently built but I was in the process of making some repairs and might have accidentally hit my gun while working on it gently. I use to be able to hear the gun stopper sound when it reaches its highest point of elevation but I don’t hear the sound anymore is that normal?

I am not sure but it might not be reaching its highest point of elevation as previously but I am not sure and don’t know what the problem is
