Hi y'all

Post by Dex353 »

Hi everyone, absolute newbie here, limited knowledge but eager to learn so please be gentle. Fair amount of mechanical ability but electrics is a black art. I have a couple of HL tanks now and will be upgrading along the way.

Greetings! Yes, indeed, electronic alterations, changes, installations, etc., keep me entertained for hours. But tiny, tottering, tip-toe progress keeps an old guy's interest. Do ask questions and show us your progress and/or disasters. Welcome!

Hello and welcome from Argyll and Bute.

Dex353, may ask where you reside, and what, if any tank you have? With you indicating you have a couple of HL tanks, my guess is Sherman, and another bloody Tiger?

:haha: Dex, don't let Meter Rat scare you. He's a remarkably caring and kind fellow, but he has to endure all kinds of well-deserved comic abuse because he is afraid of Tiger tanks--including his own.

Key to working with electronics, take a pic before you start, label the cables, be methodical with carefully removing them, and do all your cable changes with the power OFF - preferably with the battery disconnected.
