The stolen Panther tools are a cool touch.

Mr. Chef, it's amazing you noticed that.
All I need to do is some minor work and finding a Russian commander.
And we'll be advancing on the Oder.

Some T-34 crews even used Panther roadwheels as a quick fix until they could get proper replacement T-34 wheels, the Panthers wheels were slightly larger but they did the job in the short term.

In war, improvise or perish.
Looking for any fixes for a T34/85;
did Taigen get it right out of the box?

It's pretty well sorted out of the box. The Taigen T34 sits lower than the HL version which is too high. Only issues I have with the Taigen version is that the suspension arms work loose after a while. Most of them can be tightened up without removing wheel or tracks.

I could “almost” be tempted by a T34.

Well, FWIW I do have an incomplete set of plastic Heng Long Panther wheels that I've split up and used but are available.

Just DO IT! It's quite a robust little bugger and more resilient for your playtime rigors than your bloated modern traktors
