Butarquen Camp (Madrid)

Post by Edumardo »

Hello friends,

I'm starting this thread to share updates about the Butarquen Camp diorama in Madrid, dedicated to 1/16 scale military vehicles. It is located in Getafe, Madrid, and is part of the ASOGER RC club. From now on, I’ll be updating this thread with photos and videos of the latest progress. There’s a previous thread on the forum with lots of photos and videos from the latest meeting: viewtopic.php?t=36386

In this new video, our friend Kike tells us about the new buildings he has constructed to remodel the Villers-Bocage area.

Do you have a list of your events? I can probably make it to Madrid this summer and I love Spain so this would be an icing on the cake event

There are no events planned, but it's usually busy on weekends. If you're planning a visit, please let us know in advance

Hello friends!

In this new video, Quique shows us a new building for the diorama: a Russian Orthodox church. It’ll be part of a future Russian village ;)

Just amazing. I've built enough tanks. I'm going to try my hand at something else like that. I know I'll never get close because that is unreal talent but seeing the end results at your field area is an inspiration to give it a try

Looking good. Since I got the Normandy buildings, I've been all over looking at dollhouse stuff. I would say 1/12 is the closest in size to our stuff and looks decent. There are so many windows, shutters, and roof materials to 3D print. Building diorama pieces for the battlefield sure go much faster than building tanks, but when I'm done with mine I'm looking forward to finishing more tanks. There is one guy on Cults with an entire Caretan, France building set that could be scaled up and printed...maybe someday. :haha:

Too many project builds to list...
