Torro Sdkfz 251
The model is ready. I put new grey colour on model.
Somehow I managed to squeeze 6 guys inside, despite that box-switch that gets in the way. The plan is to add a Pak40 from DAS Werk to the set. But it won't be available for sale until June.
I am positively surprised by its driving capabilities. It drives great in the grass, doesn't shed its tracks, and the engines are strong enough that you can easily drive and turn very slowly or very fast, by giving it gas. I have similar feelings as with my angle gears from tanks. I set the speed for it, and it drives similarly regardless of the changes in the terrain

In addition to the superb figures, I see some excellent paint work, as e.g., on the stowed rifles.

All these great German half track builds being posted.
I definitely want one for a project next winter

Mostly the shipping cost of the figures kills the deal for me!

Great looking vehicle and occupants!
The officer and gunner remind me of my wife and I out for a Saturday drive:
Officer (wife)-- "Yard sale! And they have tupperware and patio furniture!"
Gunner (me)-- "Uggggh..."
Mike.
