Rad Schuhart

Post by Jimster »

I’ve been in communication with his wife and have permission to release some health info.
Rad had a surgery which resulted in some serious complications but now he is getting a little better everyday however is still in the hospital and will require some rehab. I’ll update this post as soon as I learn more or until he is able to respond himself.
I certainly wish him a speedy recovery and while I’m not overly religious I pray he recovers fully and quickly.

I am saddened to learn that Rad has been having trouble. I think I have his address on one of the envelopes holding stencils, so I will be sending a note a.s.a.p. We are all cheering for you, Rad!

Here’s the original message I received from his wife:
Hi! I'm afraid to tell you that Rad is in hospital, he had a surgery but something went wrong next day, he had a lung embolism and cardiorespiratory arrest. He was in induced coma for some days. He is now awake but cant barely move, he will need rehab. Thanks for asking

Today she said he is doing better everyday and he is feeling very supported knowing that we all are wishing him well.
