:D Hello, and welcome to this forum, you are in the right place to learn about RC tanks, you need to tell us a little more about yourself? your knowledge in modeling? (allows us to provide more precise answers to your questions) etc.
Your hobbies, your age, what part of your country you are from, etc.

About the country the title is clear. :D

I have not experience in the RC tank world but I have many years of experience with 1/10 EP buggy.

I'm curious to understand if the RC tanks can be interesting for me and how to start.

Welcome, meme! Do you have a favorite tank? Perhaps there is one available for a good Ready-To-Run starter for you. Since you are in Italy, you will have more ready access to sources of tanks and parts than here in the US. I am waiting, too, for one of your fellow countrymen to see your post, as there are some quite capable fellows here on RCTW.

exact, as our friend above says, maybe a WW II type, or much more recent, there are several brands Heng Long, Torro, Taigen, etc. Tamiya too, but their electronics are a bit aging? several categories, all plastic Heng long, or Taigen, Torro, with some metal parts, etc. attached link to seller's site in Germany, also a member of this forum.

In Italy they suggested TAMIYA.

I'd like to buy a kit of WW II, Russian Army.

What do you suggest?

At the moment I need to understand the option availlable and the best shops in EU where I can look ann undrstand better.

:) Tamiya? Yes if it is for the pleasure of developing a tank? But if in the future you want to improve it? You will have to replace the electronics (not great) which are fixed, in the end it will cost you more than another brand, and unless I am mistaken, the tracks are still made of plastic? So if you want to operate outdoors, grass, mud, etc.? Personally I would say Taigen or Torro, complete ready to operate, batteries, radio included. You can opt for a metal version, chassis, engines, tracks, etc. For a Russian, there is a choice, T34, KV 1, KV2 ... Tamiya, there are pros and cons, browse the forum, you will find different opinions.
