Tiger1 from 3dprinted tanks

Post by Craxler »

Hello.
This winter I decided to put my 3D printer to full use and started printing a Tiger tank on a scale of 1:10. I'll share with you the progress and what I've achieved so far. There is still a lot of work and will take a while. So far we're at 400 hours of printing time, I'm still a long way from being done and then I still have to add some color :D

Here are Videos from the testdrive

So far I'm happy with the files and the accuracy of fit

Very Nice! What are you using for electronics and motors?

I followed the instructions in the manual. You can also view the instructions at 3dprintedtank, where there is a list of materials with links. If you have any questions, just let me know

I looked at the instructions in that file and they are very detailed. It looks like a lot of fun to build.

The video is currently set to "private" so the rest of us can't view it...

Yep, that one worked! I like the pace the turret turns. I find some of our tanks swing way too fast.
