3D printed Normandy farm
For the past few months, a friend of mine has been printing out a French farm for me. The model comes from Printable Scenery. The original model is designed for Bolt Action (1:56) type battle games.

There is one more building left. Scale is enlarged three times.

Yikes that's a lot of printing!

So more expensive than my MDF and Plywood creations - but also far more water proof, which is certainly a plus

It would take a lot of work and skill to carve out these bricks and roof tiles. We decided that time is money.

Doll house Brick paper is an option if you are not planning to leave outside in the wet.

This is made with our outdoor shows in mind. That's why, for example, it couldn't be PLA because it would melt in the sun.

I think it’s most amazing! The detail is beautiful.
Re: 3D printed Normandy farm
I've been wanting to print some nice diorama stuff like this, but my printer is still kinda small for that. That villa looks really nice though. I started printing a bridge, but after upsizing it to 1/16th scale I didn't like the size of the stones as they looked really out of scale. I've got a new bridge to try, but the files need to be cut up to fit on my printer.

That looks fantastic. I wish we could do something like that for our field
