Well here we go, airbrushing for the first time

Post by MrChef »

You all! and you know who you are... Were sooooo Right! Airbrushing is a complete game changer. I'm addicted to this now. I want to paint everything. I think I'll paint one of my cats :haha:

Took all the bits off the KT. Wiped her down with alcohol. There was lots of pigments, dirt and dust on her.

and then I had to quit as am up early tomorrow.

You bet there's a round 3. I'll share updates soon.

Couldn't think of a better way to learn to use it than with winter whitewash camouflage.

Yes, indeed: in the fourth through seventh photos, you have the look of a Königstiger in March of '44 or '45. I like it!

Well known fact that KTs at full give would get loose in the backend. Downforce, downforce, downforce! ;D

I'm still an airbrush hack but the control is crazy. No more rattlecan blasting out paint at instant drip volume with a full tank-width spray pattern. Nirvana, huh?!

 Thank you, this is actually good practice since I'm painting over it. But I've just decided that I'll be black basing going forward.
