Hinterhalt
As the outdoor season is winding down very quickly a few of us took the opportunity to run some tanks around the club field yesterday and being a beautiful if chilly day get some last shots of the tanks outside. I was scrolling through my pics and this one stood out as how effective the hinterhalt camo could be even without foliage being placed on the vehicle
Re: Hinterhalt
A Jagdpanzer IV, nice!
I have all parts to built one, but it just has to wait till other projects are finished.
Mine will come with Schürzen.

Re: Hinterhalt
Panzermechaniker, it looks greener in Toronto than here in southern Wisconsin. If you can still get your Jagdpanzer IV out in the same spot, you may find that as the leaves get even browner that camouflage scheme will be even better yet. Then, too, I wonder I think what that photo would look like in black and white. If you wish, and you cannot convert it, send a copy to me PM and I will convert it and send it back to you.

Re: Hinterhalt
Using B &W warm on the image. Herr Doc I used to change to black and white using a monochrome filter but I didn't see that option so this is the best I could quickly do. Just finished amusing myself with the always fun attaching the tiny spring on the self centering kit on my new radio

Way to go! What I have not yet figured out is how to make the B&W photos look old. It probably has something to do with resolution, but I'm no photography nor Photoshop wizard. I use PhotoShop LE, which I call "Photoshop Lame Edition."

Re: Hinterhalt
Herr Doc i have done much better and one of the guys in our club is a master at producing the most atmospheric black and white shots of tanks on our field. Hey that in itself is an art that goes beyond all the digital tools hacks like me can use. But please I'd love you to have a go at my image and try for something better. I'd love to see a great result

Lookin great Panzer mech
I've tried a few settings that you've seen already using my phone. I honestly don't know which pics I like the best-Herr Dr. Professor wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 9:38 pm Way to go! Re: Hinterhalt
Yes that Tiger shot looks very good. I might have another go on the one above. I just quickly did it but I couldn't find the setting I had used a year or ago so back when messing around using a Panther as the subject.
Re: Hinterhalt
Did you took the pic with your cell?
When you open the pic on your phone, you mostly can choose out of several filters.
Maybe you can find something you like there?
