My Asiatam Kubelwagen, Ostfront 1942

Post by Rob59 »

My Asiatam Kubelwagen had been sitting on the shelf for maybe 2-3 years.
Bought it back than in Germany, took it apart, red primer on it, next Panzer grau and put it together again.
And that's it....
Now it was about time to do something with it!
Finished it yesterday.
This morning I added some stuff from the Tamiya weatherset-A onto the 5 Grenadiers.
I am satisfied with the result.
Have a nice weekend.
Rob.

Will and Catherines Kubel is r/c and even the doors open and close,
I added various bits from Tamiyas Kubel static kit to round it off,
The downside is that the WCP vehicle was built in limited numbers, Will could not access the Desert balloon tyres.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

This one is rc ready too.
Entire model is out of metal and the 4 doors can be opened too.
Did read a lot about the poor quality of the metal vehicles from Asiatam, but this one seems bullit proove, so I have nothing to complain about!
Grtz. Rob.

Not yet.
It can be easily made rc, there is a motor/gearbox at the rear axle and it came with some wires too.
But I am not so good in this electrical stuff, so I keep it as a static model just for deco in my pictures.
It is okay for me this way!

Only too bad that those leaves in the outdoor pics, are way too big!
Must make new pics without them to make it look more realistic!
