Hi all, Im from not so sunny uk, Been Flying rc planes and helis for years,
Now moved onto things that don't fall out of the sky(unless Thrown)
RC Boats and Tanks, well my boy started me on tanks.
It started at a bring and buy at my boat club, when a member brought a heng long early 1/16 tank along, so just had to get it
for my boy, and i think I'm having just as much fun, so sure i will have to get another one now.

sorry for the Dumb questions that will probably follow

Hello and welcome from Argyll and Bute, up here in Scotland. Do tell what tank it is. I guess at a Tiger. We like pictures, and the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask. Chances are whatever you ask, someone will have a solution.

Welcome to the forum Pincher. We love dumb questions because some of us can answer them from personal experience. I tried RC flying but was only semi successful with two channel gliders. The one time I stepped up to powered flight flight with a high wing ARF .040 lasted only minutes when I hit the lone light pole in the area. It was a perfect hit, broke the crankshaft and crankcase, the five servos were scattered around the area. Since then I have stayed on the ground with RC stuff. Fast cars and boats tended to need repairs from damage too. RC tanks has been much better suited for my abilities.

Again, welcome aboard!

Greetings, Pincher. Mr. jarndice is right: I am impressed by Dave and Julie of Forgebear, and I am all the way across the pond. And as for stupid questions: please ask! If the question is simple, either 1) I need the answer, too or 2) I might even be able to answer it. I hope to hear from you soon about what tank you are considering for yourself. I want to make sure your tank can whomp the one your son has. :D
