Imperial War Museum Duxford
Took a little bit trip to The Imperial War Museum at Duxford. Mainly aircraft but they do have a land war section. A few pictures from the day.

Some nice detail pics of the Grant, and love that trainer scheme of camouflage and yellow on the Tiger Moth. Looks a great day!

Re: Imperial War Museum Duxford
Me and my bestmate were round his house after school, on the 2 channel tele the news was saying an airplane had crashed on the MI,
The M1 was still being built and it only went from Watford to Hemel Hempstead so off we went on our bikes and cycled down the soon to be a without speed limit highway,
Found the smoking remains of a De-Havilland Dragon Rapide looking nothing like your very nice picture down the bank which the highway engineers were using which had been landing on a finished section unfortunately Paddy in a tipper on piece work clipped it as he tried to pass it and over both of them went,
Injuries but no fatalities.
Obviously we were disappointed no bodyparts or even any blood, Well we were both 14
