I hacked off a piece of my Tiger 1

Post by michaelwhittmann »

; in preparation for the Mato portside vision port piece.

Did I hack off enough? Too much ??

Can someone give me the dimensions of the Mato upgrade?

Any help as always is appreciated. I will post the result when complete.

I found it a safer proposition to remove the front plate to attempt this but yours seems to be ok.

Here's a link where I shared this process with my Winter Group build Tiger 822- viewtopic.php?t=34859&start=10

We live, we learn.

At this point you are going to be looking at a new paint job there. If you follow my link/build you'll see every step I took for "fixing" the Heng Longs basic glaring inaccuracies. Ask me if you have any questions for what I did.

The early Heng Long tanks glue was easily softened with a Glue Remover which allowed all the glued panels to be removed including the front glacis plate of the Tiger the later models glue was not so willing to give up and a microsaw usually had to be used..
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
