Elmod gun smoke unit quirks with 3s LiPo

Hey I have a Torro Tiger II with an Elmod Fusion X, an expander board with a recoil servo and an elevation servo, and a Elmod gun smoke board.

Whenever I try to put in a 3s LiPo instead of a 2s, the turret may work normally for a little bit, but eventually the gun flash and the gun smoke will just start going off repeatedly on its own without me triggering it, no gun shot sound or barrel recoil occurs when it is doing this either. The only way to stop it is to turn the model off.

Sometimes the elevation servo gets in in the act as well, moving to full depression with no stick input.

It only does this when I try to use a 3s LiPo. I tried using some BECs to make sure the voltage running to the Elmod gun smoke unit was 7.4v, but this didn’t change anything. I also set the voltage in the app to 3s, no change.

I have a o her tank that runs on a 3s, I don’t have issues with it, but I’m not using an expander board or gun smoke unit with it.

Any clues why it might do this?
