Two Tamiyas which to build first?

Post by nw explorer »

I have never built a Tamiya full option tank before, but i now have two waiting.

King Tiger and a Sherman.

Got plenty of up-grade bits for both but which is the best to build first, basically which is the best/easiest "out of the box"

In these hard economic times the tuff choices my require governmental intervention, you lucky dog.Build the Sherman America needs all the help it can get,if things keep going the way they have been we may call the Shermans back to front line service, their selling off the Abrams to every enemy we have so every one can have diversity and be fair to our former enemies which will soon be given marada rights on the battle field.making them US citizens protected by the constitution that our fathers fought the AXIS to maintain ,and since the new MATO Sherman will soon hit the market you will have a top of the line Sherman to campare with the new kids on the block.Saxondog

Dont build two at the same time, you will sicken yourself, and you will find that neither will get done the way you want them.

Very nice predicament though, two Tamiyas tanks.
Do you realize how much I hate this uniform and all it stands for. ( Cross of Iron )

yes don't build then at the same time, screws and small bits are easily mixed, and like steiner said, you might sicken yourself so you wont get the finsih you want on either :)

"Oh the agony of choice"

A third option is you could always combine them into a super Tamiya tank, 2 turrets, 4 tracks. One of a kind.

Put the Sherman in the fire pit. I don;t know who designed that piece of cr*p. They must have thought Americans were expendable. Designed by a bunch of high school engineers....I have and idea, why don;t we build a car that has tracks and is really easy to spot and blows up real easily and put a tiny gun on it and build 50,000 of them...and then let's call it the M4. Geeze... Sounds like the Bradley....Sounds like the unarmored Hummer....sounds like.....

Build the Tiger First!
