One question for the wizards of the radio control universe. How long should the receiver antenna wire be for the HL receiver board ( 27 MHz ). Why I am asking this is I want to try and do away with the metal ariel and use the correct length of wire for an internally mounted antenna on my paper panzer. Many thanks in advance

You aint gettin me on no plane fool!
Re: How long should it be ?
Correct length should be the length of the existing wire and the existing antenna added together. Then you can do it like the photo.
Re: How long should it be ?
And dont forget the coil it has to be added .

From board to antenna tip 330mm, and if you can get a ferrite rod out an old radio, wrap the wire round that and place inside the tank. You can now use a dummy antenna where ever you want it on the tank.
