Tiger 1

Post by jonts »

Hi all
My name is Jonty from Lancaater.
Ive always been interested in tanks and I built my first Tamiya Tiger 1 when I was 14.
I am now partially retired and decided to take up modelling again as a hobby.
I have purchased a Heng Long Tiger 1 1/16 scale and upgraded the look to a realistic battle weathered look.
I used very basic products to achieve this.
If you would like to see then please contact me.
Happy modelling

Welcome to the forum Jonty. The Tiger I is a favorite of mine. I look forward to you sharing pictures of it. May I suggest you posting the pics up in the "Show Off" section.

Welcome from Argyll and Bute, on the West Coast of Scotland. Again we need photos. I never wanted a Tiger. Now I have two.

I think this forum has more Tigers than Germany ever had.
Welcome aboard and post picks when you get a chance. The Tiger1 is what lured me into this addictive hobby.

If you read the older posts here they joked about "Tiger of the Month" section instead of "Tank of the Month".

I'm very happy to be around for it's resurgence. The Tiger I was my favorite Tank as a kid and is Still one of my all time favorites.
