Hello from Southern California
Hello from Southern California
Hi all - I recently got an upgraded Heng Long Challenger from Toucan Hobbies. It’s nice - I tried it out vs my husband’s Sherman and I look forward to taking it outdoors to play in a larger space! My husband is Mithras on this forum, I thought I’d join up also!

Hello. I think I know you from… somewhere…

Yhay! We finally get to see your Challenger.
Welcome mi duck. If you are going to use the name of a British Queen, you may as well learn a bit of Mercian. Ok she was technically from East Anglia.
I look for to seeing you up to your elbows in maintenance, and breakages, and passing on your gained knowledge to Mr M, and assisting him.

Welcome along Ma’am.
I’m hoping Mr Mithras will have his T72 soon so it’s a fair fight!

Welcome to the forum Boudicca. Never mind the riff-raff. This forum and it's motley crew of members are actually a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable lot.
Enjoy the fun. And of course share some pics of your Chally hopefully running in good form.

Oh, this is great!
There are far too few women here on RCTW. And you and other women are sure welcome!
Please do let us see photos of your Challenger and keep us informed of what you intend to do with it, besides send Mithras back into the stone age. And if you have questions, please ask away.
Have you thought of getting any 1/16 female tankers for your Challenger? There are quite a few available in modern gear, and painting figures is fun.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! This seems like a fun group!
I’m out of town right now so I can’t take any video, but I’ll try to at least post some stationary photos of the Challenger that I took when I first got it. I’ve driven it a couple times, and it runs very well - very FAST too!
